I love Suzanne Vega. Particularly the Solitude Standing album. This song was always a particular favourite

i dont really like her that much anymore. by the time i got to the end of the Tired of Sleeping video i was I posted it. I think back in the day i preferred her first album to solitude standing. I went to see her in the national stadium in 1990 on the Days of Open Hand tour. I didnt know about encores at the time and i was amazed when she came back after the end of the gig to play the queen and the soldier on her own. she went off again and came back again with the rest of the band to play Wooden Horse and that fairly blew my mind.

edit: having said that, I'm told Picture Book is a very good album. I'm a bit afraid to listen to it though in case I actually end up liking Simply Red. There's a talking heads cover on it, gonna go listen to that now actually

Picture Book is solid LP.
