I didn't like the second season much but the way the TV critics laid into it with glee was a bit weird really. At least it was ambitious.

We can just pretend that whatever his next show is is really True Detective s3. Seems like there’s going to be quite a shake-up at HBO with the programmer leaving. Could be for the best as they haven’t done a brand new drama in a while that’s been worth a look. The comedy is still strong though.
