Anyone watching this?
Thought those first two episodes where pretty good.
Decent take on the whole vampire thang, nice southern flavour. Good to see E.B. Farnum and Frank Sobothka side by side, HBO thru the ages.
Bit crap watching shows week by week tho', probably be better off waiting till the whole series is out.

Did anyone else start watching this? It's very, very, very well written. I like it a lot.

The sex scenes are a bit comically overdone, mind.

ok...this show! it definitely started out really good, but it dropped
off hard - it stinks! but it's totally watchable and fairly enjoyable,
will defintely watch it till the end but it's completely ridiculous at
times.

the thing that really pissed me off was when a certain prominent
character gets killed and nobody grieves and the funeral is the next
day.......which made me remember how a less prominent character
who got bumped off didn't even get a funeral! it's a bit all over
the place...


not a good show but it's an enjoyable goof

I've been watching. I'm a bit OCD so now that I've started I need to finish. I think I'm at episode 7. It's not horrible but it's not great either. I loved Six Feet Under so I feel a bit let down. I kind of have the horn for Bill though.

i've made it to the end of lost cause shows like John from Cincinatti
and Carnivale (both rule), so i think i can handle another few
episodes of this junk - which has alreay been granted a 2nd series
won't be a problem.

i was just amazed the guy from six feet under could do a funeral so
badly....ridiculous!

the fact even i only lasted 3 episodes of fringe, suggests it must be
one of the worst tv shows ever, cos i'll watch any old shit.

i dunno...is it worth catching up? it's pretty terrible but it's kind of
addictive. i hope we see more of the bald vampire covered in tribal
tattoos

True Blood is a highly enjoyable piece of hokum in my opinion. The second series is better than the first. It's like they have abandoned all pretenses at seriousness and just concentrated on the fun stuff i.e sex, blood sucking, violence, the occult, sookie's breasts, etc. It's a winner, I say.

have to disagree with you hugh, second season has been too soppy and too stoopid (if that's possible). i'll still keep watching till the bitter end tho.
