ggi groningen was definately one of the highlights of the year.some crack.
warzone centre opening was brilliant news.didnt get to many gigs but neurosis in dublin,filtpact,easpa measa,found on the floor in new ross and bacchus ,trenches ,this tongue is poison,drainland,twisted mass in lower deck stand out as being the best gigs of the year.

Most dis-improved overseas punk food : the quality of kebabs in Holland has taken a nose-dive which is a shame bigger than Ireland’s loss of economic sovereignty.

Best and only overseas punk fest: GGI in Groningen was amazing

Best news: We haven't lost any more bands lately to emmigration/immigration (whichever is the one which means people leave)

Best van – The Shamrock hotel (even though I have never been in it (Cheers Conor))– I have missed having a camper/session van each and every sunny day since a very crafty negotiator, who shared a second name with his wife even before they were married, took it away for an absolute steal.

Most listened to gadgets in the house: the computer (two kids around, the vinyl is really only for special occasions now.) The smartphone is a close second.

Best tv: When it's turned off

Best session crew : GGI again for the win (or possibly Hooly, the man is a walking talking session)

Looking forward to in 2012 – The Moutpiece EP coming out, loads of gigs with the objectorZ, seeing more gigs, having a few drinks on a sunny Sunday afternoon in a beer garden, becoming more distinguished looking.
