Lance Armstrong charged by US Anti-Doping Agency

Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong has been formally charged with using performance-enhancing drugs by the US Anti-Doping Agency.
The case will now be heard by an arbitration panel, who will decide the outcome of the hearing.
Armstrong, whose seven wins came consecutively between 1999 to 2005, could be stripped of his titles and banned from cycling if found guilty.
However, the 40-year-old denies doping, noting he has never failed a drug test.

Give it a few years to see if he can prove he can do it with or without the drugs, eh?

He ain't on drugs. Hes far too ordinary, sprints aside. He continuously struggles to make the time cut in any non-sprint stage. Hes just a freak of nature over 200 meters. Get him to that spot and he'll do the rest. Getting him to that spot is easier said than done.

Na, we'll just have to wait 10 years to find out which pills they're all on these days

its a really dirty race though. And just when you start getting your hopes up too...

I hadn't studied the start list in too much detail but when I was in Liege on saturday for the prologue and saw fuckers like Astarloza, Valverde, Vinokourov, Kascheskin..... Dirty, dirty doping shower of fucks.

Then you see Rui Costa cycling by with his Bike Pure wristband on him. He cuts a lonely figure for sure.

It was great seeing Valverde almost going into that roundabout yesterday. Prick.

summary of some riders time losses from todays crash

schleck, scaroni, brajkovic, rolland, mollema, jc peraud, valverde at 2:09
cobo at 2:21
gesink, kruswijk at 3:31
voeckleur at 6:02
westra, karpets, dan martin, hesjedal, Vandevelde at 13:24

dan to attack tomorrow after this time loss?

dying to see if Sky are still dominating like that in week 3. I've always thought Froome doped to the gills. If they do a USPS on it and show themselves (basically) to have the best 7 or 8 riders in the race, then they're all doped, apart from Cavendish who doesn't need to.

I don't quite watch cycling as closely as I used to but my intuition would be to think the same as this.

Froome's palmarés is Michelle Smith-esque.

I'm going for Pierrick Fedrigo for today's stage. Total long shot but hes a breakaway specialist and it seems that kind of day to me. Also, a big KOM day. If Dan Martin has designs on that jersey he'll need to get himself up there. Morkov will definitely be there seeing Froomedope will have to look after Wiggins.
