like chinner said in another thread - you have to hand it to Wenger, the rubber faced cunt.

true, although the only year they looked like having a sniff at the champions league was when they got to the final. they've never really cut it at that level with the big clubs who spend on expensive experienced players.

Even though they've got to semi's Chelsea haven't really looked like winning it ever.

but arsenal have been at the top of the premiership pile since mid-late 90s but they've really been very poor in europe in that time.

chelsea have looked stronger than arsenal in europe ever since they started quallifying- they never looked like winning it, but then again neither did the pool the year they did it..

I was surprised to see man ure have a lower net spend than the pool but i suppose they have recouped quite a bit selling for big fees where as pool get fuck all when they sell. I'd guess owen is the most expensive at £8m, anyone think of someone more expensive?

i taught united net spent more than the pool
I thaught it would be close tho
i suppose they get some money when they sell players on
we wait until theyre absolute horseshit and then sell them on
(and then they (usually goalies) sometimes get good again after they leave)

are you sure these figures havent been doctored by a scum fan ?
rooney 30m
veron 30m
ferd 25m
van horse 15?
hargr 25m
nani and anderson 40m
ronaldo 12m

others at least 53m

i make that to be around 230m (hardly scientific) on players
who did united sell for big money ?
