why arent they on the stage?

it looks like the palce that wants to draw a big touristy crowd by putting on MOR covers and trad players.
it doesnt look DIY music friendly. a wedding band's venue so to speak

They have/had Sunday afternoon punk gigs in there that were fairly DIY. I had a tour of the venue a couple years ago but still haven't been to a gig there yet.

i wish they would, looks like a nice sized venue.
if you go to their listings it looks like they hav ethe same acts every Thurs/Fri/Sat night or whatever

I have no idea tbh I've just heard of these Sunday early evening gigs. Seems they're still going on "the alternative Sunday social club".

Little Whelan's seems to be up and running now.

There's also a small venue upstairs in the Button Factory sometimes none as the VIP Bar/area.
