Tosser on Dischord. Would like to see these guys live.

Brings to mind Polvo, Duster, Archers of Loaf etc. Take math out of the equation and put in beer and a pointless Arts degree. The economically thought out purchasing of the right amount of Dutch Gold to Ian Williams' blithe Punk Dog pyramid.

On a Dischord tip. I maintain Harris Klahr is the best songwriter on Dischord barring maybe J. Robbins. Q and Not U would have been total shit without him. He is bristles-on-the-back-of-my neck, affirmative merchant. I saw Brian Kerr in Tymon Park last week yapping on the phone. Headset. Merchant. Kerr as commentator on punk docs - no mere starting merchant, but star man. He was a star man.

math of an angry young man's heart. Richard Burton bullethead, idling outside your local Supervalu, not happy with the wife. Unappreciative of that strange bonsai tree in Perrystown, sulking. "Yaknow the guy, he has a BULLETHEAD." Bonsai. Perrystown. Bullets of Travis Bean, buddy, going straight to the heart and the head. Overlooked in the Electrical Audio/Touch & Go stakes, but one of the finest to ever do the Travis Bean aluminium metallic guitar sound, eh, that is all.

Immense.

Edit: Jesus, what a band. They really paved the way [perhaps regrettably] for the likes of Minus the Bear.

probably not the only one here who wished Ian Williams never wrote a note past Don Caballero. Delirious.

Even if Che wrote all those notes, I don't care. Maybe Che should have had some Faustian control on Williams' output. We'd all have been spared.

And Stanier. Go back to Helmet. Meantime is the best record you will ever play on.

Go back in time. Battles never existed. Please.

Here's a fuller show
