I've been having this argument with people for years

I feel today's weather proves my point

Spring: March, April, May
Summer: June, July, August
Autumn: September, October, November
Winter: December, January, February

you're all stupid heathens.

Wet Season
Wetter Season.

that's all you need.

Totally, although sometimes I wonder if it isn't more like this in Ireland.

Spring: March, April, May, June
Autumn: July, August, September, October
Winter: November, December, January, February.

all the boring factual stuff aside, spring is basically when the birds and the bees get the jiggy. various plant types appearing and the building of knests denotes spring.

Spring is from the 1st of February and ye can fuck off if you've a problem with that.

It depends where you're in the hemisphere and the tides.
You can't all February spring in the states when it's still snowing in April.
Here, fair enough.

Tides? Spring tides have nothing to do with season if that's what you mean.

I mean the fact that Ireland doesn't get as much snow due to where it sits. It's more mild here than the northern US. So flowers will bloom here well before they will there, etc. It almost always snows on my birthday in April. Hard to call it spring when you're under a foot or more snow still.

I get ya but what has that got to do with the tides?

Oh and just in case you're wondering I have no problem with you calling Autumn fall.
