Then wake up Saturday morning to the realisation that Ireland has dragged itself out of the dark ages and given us something to be proud of.

Then party all the way till Tuesday night when its time to go see Torche in the Grand Social.

Anyways, Tune in, Rock out, tell the bigots No, Vote YES

This New Sissy 7 Inch Totally Rocks

This Show Totally Rocks 140 25th June

New week, new show, new tunes. All bands tonight are fronted by women in honour of the Sissy 7″ Launch this Sunday in the Barricade Inn. I do understand that bands should be played because they are great, not because they are men, women, straight, gay, etc. and that doing a show with only bands fronted by women misses the whole point of feminism and equality, but I also know that all of the bands on tonight’s show totally rock and that its a great collection of tunes full stop. Tune in for tunes from:

THAT TRIP TO PDX TOTALLY ROCKED 7TH JANUARY 2016

Alright This Show Totally Rocks is going to be bigger and better in 2016. I'm full of inspiration from all the music, beer and food stuff going on in Portland and ready to reclaim my American Can-Do attitude. I've got big plans for the show this year and there is no better way to start off the show than with last year's late entry for best new-to-me band - P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S.. Last week I caught them in Portland and they rocked my socks clean off so this week’s show starts and ends with them. I also found a box of old 7”s in my folks’s attic, got some new records from San Diego bands for Christmas and got to pick a few things up in one of my favourite record stores in the world, Green Noise Records. So there is a bit of everything this week. Tune in for:

I’ve got loads of plans for interviews, guest DJ’s, live shows, etc for this year so stay tuned and if you want to do your own show, you totally should. Everyone should spend at least one night a week listening to their favourite tunes.
