Picture the scene - bodkins, a number of months ago. The second Thumped Disco is underway.

Hector is sitting at the bar.

Pete wandering around, slightly to moderately drunk.

Pete introduces self to Hector.

"Hello. I'm pete. Nice to meet you at last.", says pete, extending the hand of friendship.

"Grunt", says Hector.

"Oh.", says pete, "OK"

I would moderate with a subtle and even hand. Although Arsenal fans would be banned....
