the video of the punk/grind goat at the WORMROT gig was on thumped or Eirecore years ago. she died peacefully in 2014.

Because, sometimes, the title says it all: Wormrot and the punk goat.

Wormrot playing live in a squat in the middle of rural France October 2011. Features Lulu the infamous PUNK GOAT who watched intently for most of the set and also bought some vinyl and a patch afterwards.

2 albums arrived for me from Norman Records in Leeds last week, they charged me 6 pounds something for the shipping.

Yeah, I did go through the cash out process via another groups Bandcamp the same night and it was about a tenner less. But still 13 or 14 to ship from the uk for 1LP. Which is still too much

Interesting. Used to buy from them a bit over the years, great service and free shipping over 50 quid via parcel motel but don’t think I picked up anything from them post-Brexit postal changes. Relying almost fully on Irish shops, sites and sellers now though which is obviously a better turn of events, if maybe a little limiting for certain releases.

postage from Europe is cheap compared to UK plus no tax.
twice in last 18 months I got 10 LPs sent to me from for 11 Euro from Germany by courier!
as of last time I checked a couple of years ago a 2 KG package by Bundespost was 10-11 Euro.

recently I got:
2 LPs, 3 CDs and a 3 7" sent from Barcelona for 17,50
also got 5 LPs and 2 CDs from Italy a while back for 15 Euro postage.
2 LPs and 2 7" EPs from Sweden 14,50
also waiting for 4 LPs from Italy - postage only 9.90 etc etc

Norman will deduct UK VAT (20%) from the sale into Ireland, if the shipment is under €150 Irish customs will only apply Irish VAT (23%) and not excise juty. Plus a €3.50 an post handling fee.

In the case of last week's order it actually came through without having to pay any charges. The previous order was held until I paid up. Pot luck on that score but I've spent less on the last ones then I though I had by the looks of it.

HHV.de are the place that I got the records from for next to nothing postage.

I have bought things off German folks many times. there must be specialist sellers there for nearly every genre.
I got records off discogs sellers from German that have thousands or even 10,000s of stock.
depends what you are into.

soundohm in Milan have great stuff as far as esoteric stuff goes. (9.90 postage for 4 LPs)
