Where does that 300 mill go? Actor's salaries? It can't be on the salaries of the scores of VFX artists who work on it as they generally get paid pittance.
I agree with you, but did you ever see the scroll on those Marvel movies?
The list of names is fucking insane, like thousands of people.

300mil starts to make sense.
Like if you have 3,000 people and you're paying them 50k a year
And they work for the guts of a year on it - that's $150m
Before you buy any fucker their first bagel in the morning.

A lot of these guys would be junior animators on about 19k a year. They often farm the vfx out to India as well and pay them less!

There's also the "Hollywood Bookkeeping" effect of studios not allowing a movie to go into profit for any number of reasons

Like Stan Lee was supposed to get 10% of profits for the Spiderman movies, but they never paid him a cent, cos the studio said the movies never made a profit

He sued them and got a relative pittance

One of the Harry Potter films made a billion dollars but the studio were able to say it was a lossmaker, likely to fuck over anyone that had a profit sharing agreement

Cunts are still running the world

Speaking of which

Priti Patel, Britain’s home secretary, has dismissed concerns over the government’s immigration reforms and insisted that any labour shortages could be filled by recruiting “economically inactive” people or through new routes for high-skilled migrants.

"economically inactive" - amazing.
