I've a stack of The Wire magazine going back to 1995 and stopping around 2014. Not every issue (I've kept back about a third of them as they have features I will go back to as references) but a sizeable document of jazz, experimental and world music. Some great features and interviews in every issue.

Will deliver to Dublin or around north Wicklow/Kildare. Would hate to just chuck these out for recycling.

Dude. Don't throw these out. You'll regret it .......

I've kept all mine, round about a 3-4 year collection, give or take. I love re-reading them and going back to certain issues and i think I'd regret getting rid of them.
You might get a few bob for them if you sell them to Chapters or Secret Book and Record Shop?

out of interest has anyone had any success giving away magazines ?
have lots of them I don't want but living in rural co. Tipperary
i reckon my chances of getting someone to come and collect them
is almost nil.
i particularly have loads of cycling mags (mostly 97 to 2000's) and
lots of issues of Maximum Rock n Roll from 90's onward (maybe 150
issues) that could go.

i'm a sucka for magazines and still buy loads 'em

For the record, I haven’t regretted it yet! I haven’t even gone to consult the ones I did keep since starting this thread.

Secret Book and Record Store ended up buying these Wire magazines but they normally don’t take magazines, they took a punt on these and they did sell fairly quickly for them in the end. Not sure about your magazines, sorry!

cheers Cornu. glad that worked out for you.
any feed back is helpful.
have about 60 copies of Wire from last 20 years
i'd guess i have 800 plus magazines (mostly music) here.
also have lots of zines , pamphlets as well that i want to keep.
in 1998 i got rid of nearly all my childhood magazines/books (mostly
football, NME etc.) never regretted it.
