This there a bar in Dublin city that is not a tourist trap that would be sure to have Trad music on a Friday night? Does the Cobblestone have music every night? Anyone know?

The only Friday that the Cobblestone won't have a live trad session is Good Friday.
They have music on every night that they are open.

FOR SALE

recently picked up a copy of Planxty's first LP. had a copy already but couldn't pass it up for some stupid reason. on reflection, I don't wanna start getting into the habit of buying duplicates unless its a serious upgrade. bought it for 12, selling for 10 if anyones interested get on to me and maybe we can sort something out. Copy is near mint. one very light hairline mark that does not affect play at all. little bit crackly but not at all to the point of distracting. just being straight with what condition exactly its in. front cover, bit of ring wear. back cover a little damaged. see photos. classic trad from America

Séamus Ennis on the Uilleann Pipes. This clip is deadly.

1. The amazing playing
2. The expressions on the audience, ranging from aghast to bemused to delight
3. The lad trying gently to get Seamus to bring it to a halt, but him ploughing on regardless.
