I was 8. But it's on the radio a fair bit since then and is kind of a cultural touchpoint along with the movie. I'm not doubting you haven't heard it, just very surprised.

when I first heard this I thought it was one of the French touch bands. it came out in April '77 (before I Feel Love). MAGMA bassist Jannick Top played synths w/ these folks from 1977-80.
