HAWKWIND's 1976 album Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music is a bit neglected.
Robert Calvert based these lyrics on The Steppenwolf novel. There used to be a cool video for this on youtube using really early blue screen special effects from a 70's film of Herman Hesse's novel staring Max von Sydow.
