Todd Rundgren - International feel.
Released 50 years ago in march. Sounds incredible.

I get weirdly emotional watching that. It's rare a silly boogie woogie workout also manages to be really quite sad. The lyrics and delivery have an almost Smokey Robinson level of simple rhyming and inevitability to them.

Anyway:

Chris Rea original is 1978 and the production is almost the same so I'm saying this 81 song counts:

I imagine she must have looked a million years old to the kids. Great drum machine.

In January of 1970, this song was #1 on the charts. I had just gotten home from the Vietnam War, my wife was in hand, living in San Francisco and walking across the Golden Gate Bridge. Life was too cool and we were so young at that time. Now it's 50 years later, she's gone... and I find that there are so many things I want to do. At this point in time... I can only wish I had another 50 years as "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on my Head"

You have to have respect for someone who goes through life with name BJ.
Same for Dick Van Dyke, Ed Balls, Ethan Cox and others.
