I think a serious Thumped story would include the years before 1999. Like an origin story, but then overly-wrought for the sake of Sincere Cinematic Art.

On the other hand, a prequel to The Thumped Story could be a movie as it is. As would the horn thread. Or "The Boards Wars". Fuckit, Monkey Tennis. The Thumped Cinematic Universe.

No way is Sean Connery's ghost playing me though.
