She's being marketed/overproduced as the next Sandi Thom or the like so it'll end with a bland, bland album i'm sure but for now I mostly just love her ludicrously strong accent

Great pop songwriting. I love the vocal melody. Not a note out of place.

I love the Tracy Ullman version.
I read somewhere that the guy who plays the guitar solo now plays with PIL.

I remember thinking these were really cool at the time, the production sound, the aesthetic...
Still one of my fav 90's album. Sounds of it's time, but that's okay. They really should have held on to Kelli

I went back to it a few years back and was surprised how dated it sounded, in a way that didn't happen to Portishead. Still good though, agreed.

I've no problem with music sounding dated if I love that time period. It's part of the appeal.
