Has anyone else seen this? Basically a road movie featuring a young Ernesto 'Che' Guevara plus his chubby friend travelling around South America on a crappy motorbike. I really liked it.. it works well as a 'buddy' movie / coming of age flick, there's also a surprising amount of humour and the scenery is absolutely spectacular (Chile and Paraguay are now high on my places to go list). And the amount of obvious iconic posturing for the Che Guevara character is kept to a minimum, except in some of the later scenes in the leper colony where it starts to creep in. Mostly though it's very well done.

yeah, thought it was great. meant to read the book (autobiography) ages but never got round to it. never knew the other guy (alberto?) released an autobiography also. think the film's based on both.
