    it's some new book.

But then wouldn't you have to have been at every concert that ever took place ever, to know which of them was the best?

    anyway..

Clearly it was Neil Young at Vicar St. in 2003 but it was nice to hear others might think differently. It's cute.

that the Greendale one? I've heard it many times, though wasn't there. Definitely a contender. Neil was even cracking jokes that night.

That's the one. Well, there were three but I only went to one of them. Which was the best, obviously.

Jim says someone in the book chose Kid Creole & the Coconuts. I wasn't there but they're probably correct.

There was a similar list up on Hot Press recently enough:

Hot Press - Top 50 Gigs in Ireland Ever

I was at at least 3 of the gigs mentioned there and they weren't that good.

Nomeansno in McGonagles 1991 is not there (yes it was better than the New Inn gig) so obviously there's pages missing in this book.

oh, so it's favourite gigs of Irish people, as opposed to Irish gigs.

    I see.

I was at approximately zero of the gigs listed.

also, the book should be titled 'Gigs that happened before you were born', and sold to millenial hipsters.
