Hi everyone, hope you're well! Here's a quickish update on what's going on in the SuperFi camp. As always see www.superfirecords.co.uk if you can't be bothered to read all this and to see the latest additions to the store. We now have handy paypal buttons for you UK residents. DE NOVISSIMIS / TUNGUSKA - split 7"
Two bands from Dublin, Ireland showcase how amazing the scene is over there. DeNov are a doomed-out hardcore attack, focussed but harrowing too. Tunguska also feature members of the Polish band Silence, and play an amazing kind of d-beat hardcore.

ARMY OF FLYING ROBOTS - Discography CD
Raging UK thrash attack! Compiles the 13 songs from the "Stu Years" (i.e. songs from the first 7" and the splits with Jinn and Taint) along with a great 15-minute video of live footage together with a snazzy booklet.

TAINT - The Ruin Of Nova Roma 2xLP
This is the vinyl version of the album on Rise Above on double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. Stoner meets hardcore taking the best elements of both, with twisty turny experimentalism and full-on rocking riffing. Taint will be touring the UK with Clutch and The Sword in April, and may have a new album out before the year is out!

ART OF BURNING WATER - The Voyage of The Pessimistic Philosoph CD
Deeply disturbed UK math-metal hardcore, like a faster Keelhaul, Craw or Zeni Geva with raving lyrical content. Absolutely powerhouse drumming fuel the insanely technical riffs. Genius.

Scotland's kings of atmospheric Godspeed-esque build-ups and crushing payoffs in a Neurosis style do their second album. The double heavyweight vinyl's running out! Still got a few copies of the debut album "The Human Tragedy" also on both CD and LP.

From southern UK comes this refreshingly mental bit of Jesus Lizard-esque noisemaking with pleasing 70's rock elements in there too.

A mighty piece of complex, dark and driving noise-rock, somewhere between almost industrial rock and Merzbow. This is out in the States on Crucial Blast also.

SWARRRM / DIMLAIA - split 10"
The nuts Japanese epic experimental grinders do battle with a single piece from the ex-His Hero Is Gone doom outfit from Oakland with previous releases on Life Is Abuse. White vinyl, gatefold sleeve too.
THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE - Turn Illness Into A Weapon LP
Andy from Shank went to Canada and started this crushing powerviolence band with elements of extreme doom in there too. This is the vinyl version of the album on Sound Pollution.

FLATLANDS / SUNSHINE REPUBLIC - split LP
Two young UK bands with different approaches to the heavy doom thing. Flatlands play a stripped down sort of approach to the Neurosis sound, whilst SR have a more atmospheric House Of Low Culture feel before the heaviness crashes in. Heavyweight grey vinyl seals the deal!

THE MOCK HEROIC - Dignified Exits CD
Amazing UK band that have been plugging away for a while now. Influenced by emo when it actually equated to meaning good music, The Mock Heroic have turned in something vicous, chaotic and genuinely emotional.
MOSS / DISCLOSE - split 7"
The cult UK extreme doomers manage to write a song short enough to fit on a 7", whilst on the flip Japan's legendary blown-out d-beaters provide the soundtrack.

A trio from South Wales that play a truly hypnotic style of repetitive, head-spinning, crunchy-riffed stoner doom. For fans of Sonic Youth, Neurosis, Can and so on and so forth.
