Storm Barra (2 Viewers)

i was kinda hoping it'd blow over the tree in my neighbour's garden. at least with that south easterly, it'd blow it away from our house.

Gusts here that would yeet you about the motorway but no trees down.

Galway didn't flood*

apart from the flooded bit that is closed and that the temporary flood barrier thats been there for years was up, so not flooded, just stay out of the fenced off wet bits

a few weeks earlier and the situation could have been different with the trees.
my neighbour's tree didn't come down, alas. and i only had my chainsaw chain sharpened a week or two ago.

There was a point last night that there were 9M waves forming not too far from cork and at some stage it was possible they would make landfall. They are still out there like.
