We're putting out another single, it's the one some of yiz might have heard on 2fm the other night, on Feb 18th, that's this day fortnight, in the Lower Deck. Also playing are Groom, House of Mexico and Fela Cabaiste

I should point out that we are not "a miserable shoegazing indie band", but rather an oddball indie pop group that likes to have fun

Hmm maybe I should put up an MP3 ...

is that the one with the bottle of rum in it?
Ay
"16 men on a dead man's chest yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
Drink and devil has done for the rest yo ho ho and a bottle of rum"
Hope I don't get sued by the estate of Robert Louis Stevenson

Keith - yep, we're playing Galway tonight, actually, with the rednecks - see you there?

p.s. Fela Cabaiste is a singer-songwriter friend of Stephen-out-of-Stoat. Never saw him live but he's a fine singer and has some good songs ... the name I think is a kind of a pun on Fela Kuti, but he doesn't sound much like FK

I remember the first time I saw Stoat. I think it was in 1999 - some gig in the funnel, then some other gig in Dorans.
