I first heard this song at a battle of the bands, I think it was 1988. It was covered by a local band....They might have been called Firepower. Anyway, it rocks in a scary German thrash metal way.

Hungover listening to Zenyetta Mondatta. If you can get beyond Sting's lyrics (a big ask) there really is some wonderful stuff on it.

A pretty early example of that smooth, frictionless 80's nightclub pop


It's completely soulless but a lovely shiny machine all the same.

I'd say Patrick Bateman was grooving to this one.

I remember thinking this was really cool at the time, I stand by that. Good song. I love the synth parts. Sharon ni Bheolain on lead vocals.
