Maybe this was too EMF-y but I remember playing the ever-loving shit out of it at the time

Maybe not a worldwide hit, but college radio in the US?
I remember for weeks trying to tape this off of Fanning and never getting it
And losing it for years

If the Cranberries have made it, why not these guys?

I still say this to people "I'm hardly ever wrong" in a self-deprecating way

Lovely album
She really kind of found that sweet spot with her songwriting and her voice and her style, and it all worked

It is MENTAL to me that someone can make art this seductive, and beautiful, that connects right with the human soul. Like exactly what art should do. She cracked the code.
And it's got less than 100k listens on Spotify, so therefore not 'successful' or whatever.

The people who love it, love it, I suppose.

Jesus, this is incredible. Never heard of it before. Devastating in the best sense.

They were pretty big in Ireland back in the day weren't they? When I went back to listen to them a few years back I was amazed at their range. They seemed to be the missing link from A-House to a rake of other rock and pop bands of the time. The t-shirt of A Map Of The Universe that I stole from one of my siblings got great wear down the years.

I think hers was the first album I crowd-funded. I liked her a lot, then she just disappeared. Such a shame.

you know you've made it if you have your own callcard.

I was a big fan at the time, and agree that their stuff still holds up really well today. Very under appreciated though. They got radio play but I can't help feeling if social media was around, their reach would have extended much further.
