I've uncovered a box of tapes of old gigs, wonkey 2 etc... Last Post, JOA, Corpo, Decal, Goodtime John, THiNGS gigs etc...
Now to freeze time in order to digitize, edit, encode & upload...
Never gonna happen.

You should try to do it. After 4 or 5 years of inaction I'm getting through them surprisingly quickly.

Capturing takes as long as the tape and can be done overnight. editing is very, very, basic and quick (for me anyway). encoding to DivX isn't too bad & can be done in the background while editing the next stuff. same for the uploading to youtube bit.

Oh, I know how doable it is... It just that I'll NEVER find the TIME to do so...

ah yeah i know what you mean but i'm just saying the process is much quicker than i had anticipated - the hard part is getting over the temptation to start editing / adjusting stuff. I mean I fiddle with the EQ on the audio a little but i've given up on messing with the picture unless it's really bad.
