I'd been doing really well on the not smoking front, but fucking hell, I smoked like a sailor last night.

One of the girls in work gave up smoking last June. Cold turkey. She was previously on 15-20 a day. She reckons she's going to save about €3,700 a year by not smoking. On top of that she also says she's saving a fortune by cutting back on chewing gum, mints, hand sanitiser and women's magazines - which she tended to only impulse buy when purchasing her cigs.

I probably typed that oddly. Its supposed to mean between 500 and 600 euro PA. I get close to 1200 on petrol. Lets not talk about alcohol.

I reckon I'd be about the same as you ann, about a pack a week or so. I was doing so well with quitting and then it all went tits up as lots of really, really stressful things happened.Ugh.
