I'm buying this computer that has two graphics cards in it. So will I still be able to set it up for dual monitors?

The specs are so:

Chassis Antec Nine Hundred black miditower, Side panel window (Without PSU)
Power Supplies Fortron/Source Epsilon 600W, Blue Fan, Active PFC, ATX/EPS, SLI, 20/24pin
Mainboards EVGA nForce 680i SLI,Vers-A1, DDR2, ATX, Socket-775, 2xGbLAN, 1333FSB, 2xPCI-Ex16
Processors Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz Socket LGA775, 8MB, BOXED w/fan
Memory Corsair TWIN2X 6400C5DHX DDR2, 2048MB Kit w/two CL5 1GB Dimm's, E.P.P and DHX
Graphics Cards MSI GeForce 8600GT 256MB, Twin Turbo, PCI-Express, GDDR3, DL-DVI, HDMI
Extra Graphics Cards for SLI - you need 2 identical cards for SLI MSI GeForce 8600GT 256MB, Twin Turbo, PCI-Express, GDDR3, DL-DVI, HDMI
Hard Drives Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM
Optical Drives NEC DVD±RW burner AD-7200A, IDE, Black, DVD+R/+RW/DVD-R/-RW/Ram, Oem

I want the 2 graphics cards for the power, but I need to use two monitors for me work.

I need to know if I connect the two cards together for SLI will I still be able to plug both monitors in and have a dual monitor setup or will connecting the two cards essentially make it one card and I can only use one monitor.

I might not be making sense here :)

Well the one card can do the dual moitor set up normally, one VGA and one DVI. Google tell me that your graphics card "MSI's NX8600GT videocard sports twin dual DVI outputs" so even if you just has the one card you can have dual monitors. Having the second card connected via SLI makes no difference, just adds the extra power.

Thanks Gambra. I kind of thought I could but I saw some stuff dating back a while about having to reboot and switch from SLI to dual monitor when not gaming - but I think that's for old cards that only had one DVI out.
