UNKIND - Yhteiskunnan Pikkuvikoja lp+cd 11€
An amazing and totally bleak and definitely their best 4th LP from this finnish band, combining a more muted and moody take on DISFEAR-style rocked out guitar riffs, savagely shouted vocals ala’ VICTIMS, and then the dark and epic scope of NEUROSIS (and their slower, low end lumbering) , TRAGEDY (mood carrying guitar riffs and solos) ARTIMUS PYLE (bursting from all of that into wicked thrash) and their ilk. The Recording is crazy serious and megalithic, allowing the weight of the riffs to be literally oppressive and powerful then just clearing enough space for the band to blast fast thrashier parts. top knotch musician ship, the mood of the whole affair somber as it can get, and while this metallic influenced crust style is seems at times almost completely currently dismissed stateside / locally, if you like any of the five bands I just mentioned, buy this immediately. AWESOME. LP includes the CD and comes in a 350g Cover, 280g printed innersleeves, 180g Vinyl.

NORTON - long walks on short piers lp 8€
Norton from Zürich deliver an awesome Hitmachine with their LP "long walks on short piers". 15 songs of best melodic Hardcore and not only the Cover is influenced by the 80s. They probably can't really hear the comparision to LEATHERFACE anymore, but isn't it a compliment on the other hand as well. For the I-Pod-generation there's also a CD enclosed and for the older ones a nice booklet.

Finally this EP by the rowdies of UNHAIM from Biel, Switzerland. 4 songs of crust with a touch of metal. For those who are not didn't shit their pants due to the angry, vicous lyrics and whisper-metal, will gett creeps by seeing the silkscreen-cover that glows in the dark!
