Okay, I have several g-mail accounts for various things. I have them all filtering to one main one. Now with my double delete organization policy, I have fucked myself. I cannot for the life of me remember one of the accounts that I would now like to get into. Is there any way to see what accounts are filtering into the main account?

Yes, I know I'm an idiot.

if gmail has a header / raw / full view option for emails you should be able to trace through each message and see the original recipient address.

edit: you want to be clicking the little down arrow beside 'Reply', then choose "Show Original" from the drop down. try looking for 'Envelope to'.

Apologies for my ignorance but reply to what?

I don't have any emails from the account. I set it up and clicked to have all future e-mails forward to my everyday one. I never sent any out from the other account as I only needed to sign up for something. So basically I just want to be able to look in my g-mail and get a list of all other e-mail addresses marked to filter to it. Does that make sense or am I being completely dense here?

If emails originally addressed to gmail account A are being forwarded to email account B then the smtp header of the email will mention the name of account A when you open it in account B.

If account B is a gmail account then follow the instructions I posted. If its another webmail system or a desktop client you still need to look at the header but will need to find out how.

Providing I had an e-mail, which had been forwarded to account B from account A, which I don't.

Thanks though.

I think what the lady is trying to say is that she got an email to account b which was forwarded to account a. Now, she deleted said email when received in account a but cannot remember from which gmail account a it originally came from. Ergo, cannot find the email. Am I right? If so, I can't see any way you can retrieve it.

You should probably have paid attention to this:

[SIZE=-1]Lots of space
Over 6585.439080 megabytes (and counting) of free storage so you'll never need to delete another message.

Did you know that hindsight is 20-20 vision?

You see I have this thing called paranoia. Double Delete. No trash. I had set up the account because I needed an undetectable address to sign up for something. After painstakingly trying to come up with a name that had not been used yet...I forgot the fucking thing. So now I finally have the material I needed for said account but I can't for the life of me remember the combination of words I used. So yes, I'm an idiot. I'll have to start from scratch.

Thanks again.

No matter how well you hide it, the CIA will know that you've signed up for casual-sexy-encounters.com.

The CIA can know, it's my friends I'm more concerned about.

Sadly, I spend at least two hours trying every combination of a string of words to figure it out. No luck. I started a secret blog with the e-mail address over a month an half ago and I finally had some of the back stories done to post. Because every damn name is taken it took me forever to come up with it and it's driving me nuts that I can't find it now. Things I should remember, I don't and things I shouldn't remember get stuck in my head. So frustrating.

FYI -- if anyone is as dumb as me and forgets the username they had, g-mail (of course, why didn't think of this earlier is beyond me) has a forgot username form. It asks for your secondary e-mail, which of course was my everyday account and sent me a mail will all the accounts linked to mine. Took seconds. I can't believe I didn't think of that straight away but nor did any of you so I suppose I don't feel so bad.

today I talked to someone for twenty minutes and explained exactly where www.paypal.com can be found on their computer

I also spoke to someone who was banned for receiving payments for their escort agency

Here, I signed out of my Gmail chat, and I can't figure out how to sign back in!? It says "You have been signed out of Gmail. You must sign back in to reenable chat." Signed out of gmail and back in to no avail. Can't figure out how to turn it back on.
