This time round its an inside job from Shock's most popular podcaster; Stephen Reynolds. leaning towards dub, reggae and industrial this time out. It features tracks from Battant, The Kills, reggae pressure drops from Steel Pulse, heavy industrial grooves from World Domination Enterprises and finishing up with an Of Montreal's psychadelic disco drone of The Past Is A Grotesque Monster.

01. Sylford Walker - Deuteronomy
This 1978 reggae track was a big favourite among clubbers down at Don Lett's legendary punk / reggae fusion night at London's Roxy club.
02. Steel Pulse - Ku Klux Klan
Pop reggae release also from 1978. About the evils of racism apparently!
03. David Holmes - Happiness / Slip Your Skin
This album track from David Holmes last proper solo non soundtrack album features Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie yelping his way through a slow grooving rocker.
04. The Slickee Boys - Psycho Daisies
Taken from their 1976 EP Hot And Cool, a release documented by members of the new wave community as the third DIY new wave record ever recorded.
05. The Chocolate Watch Band - I'm Not Like Everybody Else
Classic psychedelic late 60's garage rock.... and eh... that's about it!
06. World Domination Enterprises - Asbestos Lead Asbestos
Apparently most of World Domination Enterprises back catalogue is now deleted. This early single release from 1985 is pure industrial stomp!
07. Killing Joke - Change (Dub)
This track's bassline was lifted by James Murphy for Losing My Edge. Although it could probably be argued that Killing Joke themselves stole / borrowed it from War's 'Me & My Baby Brother'.
08. Battant - Kevin
Only discovered this track after I heard an Andrew Weatherall remix and did a bit more snooping for the original. Apparently they're another hot new band on the london scene (who isn't?) but that's about as much as I know at the moment.
09. Huggy Bear - Her Jazz
Performed this track on The Word in 1993... and that's probably about as good as it got for this short-lived riot grrrl outfit.
10. The Kills - Fuck The People
Dirty low-slung blues homage to French serial killer Florence Rey from 2003.
11. The Wedding Present - Everyone Thinks He Looks Daft
Everyone Thinks He Looks Daft. Stand out track from the 1987 album George Best... an album which gave Smith's fans something else to fawn over in the year of 'Strangeways Here We Come' and 'Louder Than Bombs'.
12. Panico - Guadalupe
NY dance punk all the way from Chile on the Tiger Sushi label
13. Of Montreal - The Past Is a Grotesque Animal
Epic 12-minute meditation on regret with a disco beat that builds and builds to an epic finish.
