I've bought a few new LP's recently and none had download codes. Is this a thing now?

I bought a few records a while back from bandcamp that were part of a bundle, and there were no codes in them when they arrived. I emailed the label (Irish, Independent) and they said that they don't bother with codes as most people use streaming now. They did email me codes for them though, no hassle.

Got what I wanted and a little more. Shops didn't seem to be too busy and seemed lots of stock around.

After a bit of thinking will I bother, I drove in to town kind of late, got to the shop around 5pm & Picked up both the records I wanted no bother at all.

Los Angeles Nuggets: Where the action is. 2LP
Elastica - BBC Sessions (a bit pricey for a single record, but hey, it's RSD after all)

also got.

Super furry animals - Phantom Power CD
Todd Rundgren - initiation CD

lots of these about, I figure i'm ok with my cd, unless there's anything special on it?

few days in Liverpool earlier in the week . Not a great selection of shops to have a dig. picked up a few bits nonetheless.

Showcase by Lackluster. (nice plinky plonky turn of the millennium electronica. bit more heavy on the beats on this one than others i have by him). Always worth picking up this lad's stuff. always cheap. always very good).
A Bruton Music LP, Video Explosion. Music by dude called Patrick Wilson. Really cheesy, really upbeat 70s instrumentals
Inner Space by Sven Libaek. Trunk reissue.
Mesmerised by Experimental Audio Research. A mid 90s release put out by Sonic Boom featuring Kevin Shields and more less familiar names. Great,
