Tonight's The Night lp - Neil Young
Gomez - Bring it On cd
After all the recent talk of The Thrills, I bought So Much for the City cd - the *reappraisal starts here!

*maybe not*
A couple of Gomez songs appeared in the suggested songs thing on Spotify the other week which made me listen to that album again.

I know they played recently and I think I just realised I really used to like them, but never actually bought anything of theirs! It'll be interesting to listen to again; their songs were always really strong.

I still have a soft spot for that Thrills album. I probably haven't listened to it in at least over a decade but I remember enjoying it.

On the recently purchased front I bought JD Wilkes new album at his show in the Grand Social the other night. It's really good.

The Thrills album is really good actually, really great songs on it. Did Conor Deasy go on to anything else?

You know, that was a happy coincidence, but it was happily serendipitous! I used to have that album back in the 90s and always loved it, so it was great to spot it again.
I perhaps went a bit OTT on the Pulp/Jarvis, but who cares!

Nah, you got the right stuff when it comes to Pulp. And that Barry Adamson album is fucking great. I have a cool 4 track 12" promo of it, keep meaning to get the full album on vinyl if I can.
