Part of me thinks why not? Part of me thinks it's fucked, and the internet version of the last step towards the death of your soul.

What do you all think?

Weirdly, if I were a career artist like a painter or something who made his living from it, I'd be fine with it.

Maybe I should refrain from the schizoid existence that is a life of compartmentalisation. Confusion.

I wouldn't be bothered. you leave yourself open to:

"You don't take your job seriously"
"you value you're band above your job"
"you seem to lack ambition"

btw snaky, linkedin is totally not the place to put yer musical shit. linkedin is about your job, nobody gives a fuck about your artistry

edit: nobody on linkedin I mean, in the general sense of "you" - obviously I give a fuck about your artistry

As a paranoid weirdo I've thus far avoided Linkedin but since I'm like kryptonite to jobs I'm not sure whether I should or shouldn't get aboard the good ship Linkedin. Or what Pete said.

I like the part where you can recommend or endorse a friends skills, but you can pretty much endorse them for anything

Some lad has contacted me on linkedin, he wants to chat to me about a great opportunity. My natural instinct is to block him and report him as a scammer but is this the kind of thing you're meant to take seriously when it happens on linked in? Please advise.
