when I moved to dublin I had some stuff to pay off in belfast so I opened a bank account in dublin with the same bank I used in belfast. Of course,I hought I'd be able to do just as you suggest,turned out it was not posible. After a while I just gave up and said fuck them.
I have no faith in things like that as a result.
