Hey Guys,
Just a quick post from PHONiC Magazine before we hit 2010. Some of you may have picked us up in 2009, some may have not (you can read all the back issues online at http://www.PHONiC.ie), to all who did and gave us your support in our first few months, thanks a million! We really appreciate it
In 2010 one of our main missions is to try and help do our bit to grow the scene around Dublin by helping promoters promote their gigs as much as possible. We realise the budgets arent always there with independant promoters so advertising isnt always an option. So we want to try and help you promote your gigs without having to spend any extra cash...
At the end of January, we will be releasing our Promoter Co-Operation Pack, which will have all the details on the many ways we are willing to promote you and your gigs to the Dublin Public. These will include articles, interviews, full listings, interactive previews on the web, monthly clubnight profiles, email drops, competitions and more.
We print 40,000 copies of PHONiC in 350 locations around Dublin, and we've also just launched the flash version on the web, flash version for smartphones and we're also available through app for the Google Android with iPhone and iPhone touch apps coming in January.
The Dublin scene was good this year, I think it can be even better in 2010, but im sure every promoter would like more numbers through the door and for their gigs to be even better promoted and known about and thats exactly what we want to see happen.
If you want to recieve the Promoter Pack when its ready, just pop an email with "Promoter Pack" in the subject line to [email protected] and I'll add you to the list.
Also, in the meantime, if you want your listings automatically added to our Jan 15th issue with Jon Burgerman cover, Moodyman & Mr.Scuff interviews, full clubbing and live gig previews etc, just post the gig in the live gig section on our forum and we will automatically include it.
