bought a nokia lumia 1020 recently. first 3 days, connected to wifi at home no problem. since the start of the week it isn't recognising the password. keeps saying password incorrect. which it is not.

called into o2 store yesterday. connected to their wifi no problem.

my bro's i-phone and and a couple of laptops are connecting fine to home wifi

tried connecting to mate's home wifi last night. no joy. we both use eircom netopia.

has anyone experienced hassle like this. a bit of searching online shows that this is a fairly common problem with windows phones. from what bits i've read, there doesn't seem to be a cut and dry solution. have tried changing the channel on router, rebooting. doing nothing.

any suggestion/advice? Ta

I had a similar issue with my Android phone and my home network. The issue is probably that I've configured the network poorly but that'd take longer to fix so what I did instead was set up the settings on my phone to give the router a static IP rather than a let it determine it dynamically.
