whatever you do, do not book this apartment! great little place and location until you are confronted by screaming neighbours at the end of your stay who look like they're on the verge of nervous breakdowns because of all the noise you have supposedly made. gas craic.

Our first night at my first PV, 12 lads in two adjacent tiny studio apartments the landlady burst into the other one and started screaming at us, "you English, how can you live like this?"

In fairness we probably were behaving like animals*.

* I was, at that point asleep in the one I was sleeping in.

we were all behaving like saints. honest. it was just the incredibly shit soundproofing what caused it. woke up one morning and it sounded like the downstairs neighbour was singing very loudly at the foot of my bed.
