Can't but notice you've got your foliage level up really high by the way. I think a lot of high level players put the foliage level at the lowest so it's harder for other players to hide in it.
That said, your footage generally looks better than mine. I built a GTX1070 i7 battle station last year that makes The Witcher 3 look amazing, but Battlegrounds still looks pretty crumby on highest settings.

Actually it turns out, that among it's various bugs and quirks it keeps resetting my graphics settings to very low. Well that explains that!

got in a few games this evening....thought i was being REAL CLEVER hiding up on the roof of a church with my mini14, plenty of cover, and taking sneaky potshots at people running to one of the final circles. Some joker with a Kar98 put an end to that notion.

Nothing about PUBG being buggy surprises me. Bloody voice chat on squads doesn't even work anymore. How many times will 4 guys place a bead on the map to land at and I'm the only sucker that ends up landing at School or Prison. :-/

This is really useful. The dynamic range of the audio on PUBG is drastically wide. You find yourself turning it up when things get quiet and then your ears bleed when gunfire goes off. This helps mitigate that. Set a maximum volume and Windows will keep the dynamic range down, actively turning down your volume when it trys to get loud with nearby gunshots.
In audio terms: it's a dynamic compressor for your windows master audio output.

It's amazing how much the player experience has changed for to the worst since I started playing this. OK, I may have been in the early majority getting into it, but the 4 player squad thing is dying on it's ass. When I first started playing I found remarkable the fluent and helpful cooperation of my team mates (llok earlier in this thread), now almost nobody appears to have a mic, and the lack of cooperation is insane. People jumping out of the plane willy nilly and not agreeing on a set point means the squad is split from the start. Not to mention the players, allegedly from China, who are team killing the crap out of everyone. I've had the latter happen twice today. People suck, and this game is going to die on it's ass if measures aren't taken. It needs text chat, or at least a prefunctory rocket league style communication system.

Oh man, this whole situation is fascinating now. PUBG/Bluehole are heading for a No Man's Sky / Hello Games style fiasco.
