Oh hey I play this pretty much every night if people are down for squads. Have five solo wins and a pile of squad wins since it was released. I prefer to play with people with mics (lotta info gets passed) through Discord so that would be preferable but if you don't then just be able to follow callouts.

Yeah me too every night but as I said Ive turned into a massively shit player again for no apparent reason.

I downloaded and played fortnite last night. Im impressed, the battle roayale mod that is. free to play at the moment. Different game to pubg and has some nice moments in it i have to say. Obviously im dying a lot but it has some sticking power

pete, are you actually running with a res of 3840 x 2160? What kind of FPS do you get with that? I get about 100 on 1080p with a GTX 1060.

The best user built mode I've seen so far is the Death Races that Node do. They seem like a blast. Pistols only and you have 5 mins to find vehicles/boosts etc and get to the start line. If you can't make it in time you can build roadblocks instead to ruin everyone elses fun.

pete, are you actually running with a res of 3840 x 2160? What kind of FPS do you get with that? I get about 100 on 1080p with a GTX 1060.

frame rate would struggle between 20 and 30fps at that resolution so i play at 2560x1440 and get a a fairly stable 60fps with draw distance on Ultra and everything else medium / low. Still on the i72600k + GTX970.

i'll see if i can capture some 4k footage later

Many players have asked us about the increased number of server crashes in Asia. Recently, the number of concurrent players in Asia has rapidly increased and there were times the cloud service we’ve been using could not provide more physical servers. To address this problem, we added servers from another cloud service without sufficient testing. Some servers overloaded, which caused frequent crashes. Our development team is investigating the issue in order to prevent it from happening in the future.

WELL BRENDAN, maybe if you hadn't left everyone defaulting to Asian servers for the last few weeks...
