His point about young players is spot on. But his waffle about foreign owners and players will not wash. Football is a business, hence the heavy investment of late. Players are commodities to be bought and sold as the owner wishes. EU law will strike down any attempt to limit the amount of 'foreign' players/owners. Where you grew up or who you supported as a boy has little or no impact on matters these days.
