Places for electro? (1 Viewer)

Yo folks,

I've been doing a pile of music with an electronic act (Gironans) and need some tips - where in Dublin/Galway/Cork etc would be good to try and gig with this sort of thing? We're working with a visuals guy so would need somewhere dark! We've been working on the live stuff for a year now so it's about time..

I'm a nordie, and have only ever gigged with rock bands in Dublin and Cork, so I'm at a bit of a loss!

Good few nights that cater to electro on during the week in those places, just look at the listings during the week and get in touch with the organisors I presume.

Haha! I just hate typing 'electronica'.. it sounds fucking horrendous.

Most of the stuff we've been working on for live is a lot heavier though, and yes, we have been known to stick some 808 in. I'm pretty much all laptop these days though, and I've never been that happy with the laptop versions of classic hardware.. thinkin a virus snow might sort that though!

it's not electro though. in the same way that a zebra isn't a horse. altough you can breed them together and they'll have lots of little zorses! apparently.
