My uncle Billy
Who I didn't know tremendously well, cos he was Scottish and I never visited much past being a kid

He was out for a walk in Edinburgh on the 8th and it was a windy night, so much so that he lost his footing and got blown over.
Ambulance called.
Moved from Edinburgh hospital to Queen Elizabeth in Glasgow where they have spine specialists. Told he would never walk again.
Got some infection or other (I haven't pushed my cousin on details) and passed away on Saturday night.
I was planning on seeing him this summer cos the family were so good to us when my Dad passed.

Anyways, not saying any of this for sympathy or anything.

But just to bring home the point that we all know already but still bears repeating; that life is short and death can be sudden as fuck.
If you love someone tell them, and if you have something kind to say, say it.
The chance won't always be there.
