People Who Died (12 Viewers)

ah, i geddit now ! hard to see the numbers on the sky blue kit.

Scifo was voted best young player in Mexico '86.
he had a very up and down career but was excellent in Mexico and Italia 90.
he scored an offside goal (as did Jan Ceulemans) against the Soviets in last
16 match which was best game of tournament.
Scifo was level when ball was crossed but that was offside until well into 90's
when rules were changed.
shortly afterwards Scifo scored against Ireland in Jack's first competitive match.

Yeah but just to point out, it wasn't the guy that stamped on Scifo who got sent off, was it? It was just some defender instead, for mouthing off at the ref by the looks of it, ha

I stand corrected !
poor Iraqi guy - Ray Wilkins must know how he felt.
Uday Hussein was heavily involved in the Iraq football team.
he forced one player to shave his Kevin Keegan permed hair off.

just watched Devil's Double trailer and read Uday's Wiki.
Uday had Ahmed Radhi beaten up and sent death threats when he refused change clubs.
torturing athletes who lost was the norm.
Lance must be jealous he never thought of that...

why do people insist on putting (appalling) music on football videos ?
turn sound off before you watch

You ever see The Devil's Double about him, it's a fuckin mental film, great watch
My missus used to mind that guys' kids. He was going out with one of the daughters of a Dublin criminal family. Lots of drama. I met him once and he had a gash in his head. He said the woman had slashed him with a knife. Turned out she'd just thrown a plate at him. He was known for being a bit economical with the truth.
