pedal repair (1 Viewer)

With pedals quite often it's fixable yourself. I've had a few that just needed a small solder or something basic. Have a look inside and see and maybe give it a shot.
If it's broken what's the worst you can do,break it?

well, y'see the problem is more that it works nine time out of ten, then that one time its completely useless.
so its only and issue for gigs, and even then i just have to hit it again, if ye get me.
so tinkering with it myself could just break it....
bleh.

does anyone know anyone?

If it works most of the time, unless it's an old really beat pedal then it's probably a loose wire. Seriously, have a look. You could surprise youself.

some manufacturers make it hard to mess with the electrics though.

just to let yiz know this is a jekyl and hyde..
i imagine this isnt the simplist inside..
but yeah could be the button doesnt connect or something.

fair enough, not the cheapest of pedals, but, sometimes those expensive pedals can be the simplist inside.
I've had more than a few pedals that stopped working and the problem was the connector for the battery. A 2 minute repair that anyone with a soldering iron could fix. I know i'm glad I didn't pay someone to do that for me.
I'm all for figuring out these things. And seriously I'm not the best at this kind of thing and have done plenty of small repairs.
