at various times in the brady household, we had Insight, Science Now, the unexplained (the 1980 edition!), the knack, stitch by stitch, Input...

I think the unexplained & Insight were the only one's to go all the way.

It was usual for newsagents to stop stocking the later issues as most people's interest had fizzled out at that stage which meant resorting to ordering them directly from Orbis or suchlike.

I forgot the World Of Knowledge from 1979. I brought them down from the parents attic over Christmas with the intention of bringing them up to my house but decided against it in the end. Some things are better left in the past.

The Knack was DIY? - think my father got a few. Awful rubbish.

The Unexplained was issued a number of times in the 80s.
That terrifying "Voices from the Dead" flexidisc .|..|

My da has this one from the 70's called Man, Myth and Magic and it's pretty damn cool - loads of articles on weirdy happenings, the occult, medicine men and voodoo etc, all got up in fancy embossed leather binders.
