No coverage on phone (1 Viewer)

My new(ish) Huawei phone, a Christmas present, no longer picks up any coverage at my home address but will work when I go into the nearest big town. I brought it into the shop and got a new SIM but when I got home found that it had lost coverage again. Vodafone say there is nothing wrong with their masts or any other issue in the area.

Any ideas? Time for a new phone?

i'm a very loyal huawei user and I've found about 1/5 is lemon but the price is worth the trade off

Sounds like it doesn't like the mast it's connecting to nearest to your house.

Have you poked about the network/phone options? I'd hazard a guess it's preferring to connect to one type of network and not finding it.

It was working fine up until about a week and half ago. I've tried the auto search and the manual but it won't connect to anything. It sounds like you're on to something though, even though Vodafone have checked the local masts.
