KILLING JOKE PEEL SESSIONS ALBUM - EMI say they “are very pleased to announce the release of Killing Joke’s “The Peel Sessions ’79 – 81” on September 8th. This is the first time these tracks have been made available on CD (and digital download) and fans will recognize that they boast a much rawer sound, some of them predating their studio counterparts by some months. There are also three bonus tracks from a Richard Skinner session from the same period. Liner notes come courtesy of Alex Paterson, who was the band’s roadie before founding The Orb.
